Socu, St. Mary's and U.S. Foods put this fundraiser on. Local businesses set up booths at this event and provide a couple of their dishes for everyone to try. You can eat as much as you want and let me tell you, it is like eating in about every restruant (sp?) in Streator! There is a VIP side that serves a meal on the club side (cooked by two chefs) and then there is there is the hall side that has all the local food establishments. Ticket prices vary depending on what side you choose to sit on, how many tickets you purchase and if you want to be a sponsor.
There will be a Live and Silent Auction and I believe also a drink vendor where you can try different beverages. All money made at the fundraiser is split equally between the four charities. Last years tickets sold out a couple weeks before the event....it's that huge.

50/50 have now gone on sale at SOCU, Streator Home Building & Loan etc. A minimum of $1000 payout guaranteed. I believe tickets for the event will go on sale this week. As soon as they are available, I will post.
